Who: Aria and Seph
What: Um... stuff?
Where: Traverse Town
When: Around 10:00 PM August 13
Note/warnings: \o.o/ Um... Squishyness? Complete.
Losing track of time wasn't something Aria had planned to do. But she'd ended up not realizing that weeks had passed while she tried to find something useful in all those books.
Oh, she'd found something in those books but, not what she'd been looking for. It was worrying though. Especially since she hadn't heard from Seph in at least two days.
So now she was coming home after not seeing him for however long and... she was nervous. She didn't even want to think about the reason for that.
The apartment was quiet. It seemed like no one was home. Pancake didn't seem at all bothered by the quiet of the building and dashed right in to go hide some shiny object she'd picked up somewhere under the bed in the other room.
Aria followed more slowly. And was promptly grabbed from behind. "Aaah!" Panic for only a moment as her 'attacker' calmly nuzzled her neck and wrapped one large black wing around her.
"I missed you," he said quietly, his face half buried in her hair. Really she shouldn't have been so surprised. She'd sent him a message telling him she was coming and after being away so long she should have expected some sort of welcome. That it was a somewhat playful one was comforting considering her earlier worries. But perhaps not as comforting as she would have liked. He generally didn't have that wing out unless he was in a... dark mood.
She didn't respond until after she managed to stop hyperventilating. "Almost giving me a heart attack is a lovely way to show it." He could probably hear that her heart was still pounding from the shock.
"Sorry but, you should have closed the door behind you if you didn't want someone sneaking in after." He was trying to force a teasing tone but, she knew his moods too well to buy it. But he wasn't likely to admit that something might be wrong. Hadn't even been admitting to the nightmares she knew he was still having.
She'd let it go for now. He was still him and still in control of his darkness. She had time to figure out how she was going to help with that nightmare problem. The likely cause for most of those would be taken care of in time. For now just catching up on 'quality time' would help those that just came from stress, at least. She did not see much sleep in their immediate future.

Date: 2012-08-14 08:39 pm (UTC)Just too relieved that he was being playful for the swatting.
Re: ooc
Date: 2012-08-14 08:59 pm (UTC)The wing made me think of a cocoon. *snicker* Or Dracula. ...I do not know why.
Re: ooc
Date: 2012-08-14 09:09 pm (UTC)A cocoon effect was kind of what I was picturing when I wrote it.

Re: LATE ooc
Date: 2012-09-07 04:05 pm (UTC)If he starts walking around with it out constantly... worry. Worry a lot. It would mean he's not really in the right mind.
Also fun fact. He finds having the feathers stroked soothing. Helps get him out of the dark moods.
Re: LATE ooc
Date: 2012-09-07 06:00 pm (UTC)You can thank my feather fetish.
