Who: Amy and Awiergan
What: The usual annoyance makes a surprise visit.
Where: Dreamland
When: July 5th
Notes: Nothing, really. But she should've asked...

It had started out as Jalen's dream. The two of them by the lake that he'd grown up near, just talking...and cuddling. That was a given. Eventually his dream had changed into something sappier, and she'd left him to it, but taken the idea of the surroundings with her. She liked the place, and sometimes wondered if it still existed. Maybe one of these days they'd take a family trip and find out.

Amy knelt by the water's edge and pried a stone loose. It wasn't anywhere near round enough to skip, and she almost dropped it in favor of another before shaking her head. Even now, she still forgot sometimes. The jagged edges of the stone smoothed out, and the shape changed fluidly from an almost-rectangle to a perfect oval. Amy raised her arm and cocked her wrist, ready to throw-

"I can't believe you, really. Your best idea for keeping me under wraps is to get pregnant?"

Amy dropped the stone in surprise, where it tumbled into the water with a quiet splash. She stumbled to her feet and looked around warily. She was alone, and no sign of the Tower, so-

"Down here, idiot."

Amy blinked, glanced down, and instead of dancing back a step (or ten) in surprise, only laughed. There was Awiergan on the surface of the lake, standing in the same position as her Other. When Amy raised a hand to push her bangs out of her eyes, Awiergan did the same. She shook her head in mild disbelief before crouching by the water again.

"I didn't do it because of you. She was a surprise."

The redhead snorted. She'd also dropped into a crouch, scowling. "'She'. So sure about that already? Light help Jalen."

Awiergan seemed to be considering something, then shrugged. Oddly, Amy didn't feel the need to mirror her Shadow. She simply watched.

"Guess Medrau got me back. Remind me to kill the bitch."

Amy said nothing to that, only materialized another stone to play with. After a second, Awiergan grinned.

"Don't you want to know why I'm here, and not in my 'prison'?"

"Not really." Amy skipped the stone, counting as the ripples spread. Five, six, seven...

"Liar Liar pants on fire..."

"I've got better things to do tonight than listen to your bullshit."

Suddenly the lake crackled, freezing over while the rest of the dreamscape remained unchanged. She'd banished the Brat, for now. Sighing, Amy decided to go check on Eli. Nothing in his dreams were scarier than a missing dragonfly or two.
