Who: Amy and Song
What: Surprise!
Where: Rainbow's End
When: Wednesday June 6th, morning
Amy paced back and forth in front of the closed bathroom door, sparing a glance at it now and again and scowling. It was nothing. She'd used too much magic fighting, that was all. So she was still feeling worn out. Why shouldn't she? Mabry was off trying to save the world (or at least two small parts of it), she herself was trying to be a mom to an extra kid - and Song - she banished that thought before sighing. She'd made sure Jalen had taken Eli and Ashlyn down to breakfast before she'd gotten started on this. She didn't want him to know...not yet. A quick glance at the clock on the nightstand confirmed it was time, and she took a deep breath before going back into the bathroom. It'd be negative, no big deal, things would go on as they had been...Not that she wouldn't be thrilled, it was just...bad timing.
"When is it ever good timing?" Amy muttered to herself. She bit her lip and picked the stick up from where she'd left it on the counter, stared at it, then dropped it in the sink with a clatter.
"ARE YOU KIDDING ME?"
