What: Nightmare
Where: Bed
When: Night
Notes/warnings: Um... I don't even know. Creepiness?
Seph stands in silence within a swirling darkness.
"We're not really so different." A familiar shadow of a man behind him.
"Shut up."
"Don't be like that. It is the truth." Smirking. Always smirking. "You know what the only thing that kept you from becoming me is."
"Shut. Up."
"What would happen if I took her away?"
A turn and a strike. The shadow just chuckles as he dissipates into a cloud of darkness.
"It would be simple enough." Behind him again.
Another useless strike.
"Even with her progress she would not be a challenge." A shadow of a hand brushes the thin braid behind his ear. "Perhaps I wouldn't kill her."
"Shut up." Useless words.
"Taking her for myself would hurt you quite a bit more." A dark chuckle.
Turning. Striking the shadow repeatedly as it reappears every time.
"She would likely sink into despair."
Betond words now. "Grrraagh!"

Waking with a jerk. He sits up, panting slightly.
"Mmm, Seph?" Aria. Still half asleep.
"It's nothing. Go back to sleep." He doesn't think she buys it.
"Seeeph." She doesn't.
He sighs. "...Nightmare." He was not going to give her details on that one.
She knew from his tone that he wasn't going to explain further. Wordlessly she gets up to sit next to him. Neither of them were likely to be able to get back to sleep now.
