Without another word Seph pulled Aria close, tilted her head up and kissed her.
The large distortion wavered and broke. And the small one exploded into horrors and darkness. It was almost as if the curse had been containing it. Ghouls, dark formless shadows, even somewhat ghostly versions of Sephiroth all poured out and went for Aria.
Seph was off like a shot, dragging Aria with him.
The Tree was like a beacon in the sudden darkness, it's brightness not diminished in the slightest.
