The type of curse might be obvious too but, that smaller thing... Was it an alteration? Perhaps to keep the usual cure from working properly.
"I suspected as much but, I don't expect the solution to be as easy as it might have been in the past." Seph managed to spot that smaller distortion through the trees. Barely. If he hadn't looked up at just the right moment along the way he wouldn't have seen it.
