She followed him wordlessly, for now, and she didn't look around so much as she cast other senses out into the surrounding woods. The theory was that, as they were in the confines of a human subconscious, the dreamscape's size was entirely relative, as was the portion of its space taken up by a visiting consciousness. Under that hypothetical rule, Song could "extend" her mental presence to detect changes, dangers, and signs of activity from anywhere in the dreamscape.

That was the theory, at least.
