Medrau's smile seemed very nearly sad... or perhaps she was trying at pity. She did take the time to catch each of their gazes before replying. "The First Darkness will come again whether or not we summon him. I am giving you the choice to catch him off guard, instead of sitting on your hands until he deems himself ready. After three embarrassing defeats, I somehow doubt he'll underestimate the lot of you again."
