Jalen might've been more startled at the shift in surroundings if he hadn't been subject to his wife's repeated 'funtimes' of neon trees and multicolored bunny rabbits that wore tutus. The sudden silence was unnerving though - at least until Medrau's voice broke it. He stared at her in her little box and tried not to snicker. Something about it was striking him just a bit funny.
